Baptist Children's Homes serves as many as 700,000 meals and snacks throughout the year! Consider that BCH operates care locations in 20 North Carolina communities. When you are feeding cottages that can have as many as 12 to 16 residents, it takes a lot of food to fill hungry bellies. You can imagine how much it costs to feed so many. The annual "Food Roundup" makes it all possible!
We are participating in "Adopt-A-Box for the Children". Simply pick up a box from our church (with the list of needs included), take it in the store and shop for the children. At the register just have the cashier place the items back in the box so you do not have to separate them again. All that is left is to deliver the box to Meherrin Baptist Fellowship Hall Monday-Friday 8am-Noon by October 1, 2020.
Due to the Coronavirus, the 2020 Food Roundup is scheduled for the month of September.
Our 2020 goal is 75 Boxes.
