Baptist Children's Homes serves as many as 700,000 meals and snacks throughout the year! Consider that BCH operates care locations in 20 North Carolina communities. When you are feeding cottages that can have as many as 12 to 16 residents, it takes a lot of food to fill hungry bellies. You can imagine how much it costs to feed so many. The annual "Food Roundup" makes it all possible!
Each year during the month of April we participate in the Food Roundup by asking for donations of gift cards to help with all their needs including perishables. Also, some children come in overnight and have nothing, so there is an immediate need to purchase clothing. Gift cards preferred are: Walmart, Food Lion or Sam's Club.
