Starting in 1888, the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering was established to empower the international missions efforts for Southern Baptists. After more than a century, the annual offering continues its steady growth. Every dollar given to the Lottie Moon offering (100% of the offering) helps enable a missionary to stay on the mission field, to lift the light of Jesus Christ amidst some of the darkest, most dangerous and difficult-to-reach places, and to make disciples among unreached peoples for the glory of God.

North Carolina Missions Offering (NCMO) is a special offering received during the month of September that supports the ministries of N.C. Baptist Men, Church Planting, mission camps, associational projects and mobilization ministry projects. NCMO is your opportunity to impact lostness as God accomplishes many wonderful things through these various ministries.

The Appalachian Coalfields Ministry, sponsored by NC Baptist Men, seeks to help meet the physical and spiritual needs of people living in the Appalachian Area. One of the greatest ministry needs in this area occurs at Christmas. The statewide goal is to collect 18,000 backpacks and the goal for West Chowan Association is 500.  As each backpack is given out, the gospel story is shared. Your help is appreciated!

Operation Christmas Child brings joy and hope to children around the world through gift-filled shoe boxes and the message of God's unconditional love. People of all ages can be involved in this simple, hands-on mission project that focuses on the true meaning of Christmas - Jesus Christ, God's greatest gift.
