Girls in Action (GAs) is a missions discipleship group for girls in grades 1–6. The GA Motto is “Go Forward!” and Girls in Action do just that—they grow closer to God as they discover their part in His plan and practice what they learn through hands-on missions opportunities. Girls in Action leads girls to a lifelong commitment to Christ, His mission, and His church.

Royal Ambassadors (RA's) is a missions organization for boys in grades 1-6 that helps them develop a Biblical worldview with an emphasis on missions learning and missions doing. RA's utilizes activities that are designed to help boys learn about missions and get them personally involved in practical missions experiences while having fun. 

Our Nursery & Preschool Ministry at Meherrin Baptist Church seeks to provide a safe, Christian atmosphere for the youngest members of our church family. Our children's ministry volunteers follow our church-wide Children's Ministry Policy and complete an approval process prior to serving. We hope that our loving care of children will allow parents to participate in a wide range of opportunities available here at Meherrin Baptist Church.

We have Sunday School classes for all children. We meet every Sunday from 9:45-10:45 AM and split classes by age, so each student will learn relevant Bible truths at a level they can understand.

Team Kid takes place every Sunday during our worship service for children ages 3-5 and includes fun, music and Bible teaching!

Throughout the year, we have several special events for the children and their families. Join us for one of the events below!

• Birthday Party for Jesus-celebrate the real reason for Christmas with this birthday party for Jesus
